The Challenge
Designing and delivering the platform for an initiative targeting primary schools. The project require to facilitate the exchange of materials relating to the program, between schools and the central organization. The primary challenge was to create a unified ecosystem that catered to three distinct user groups, students, teachers, and parents, each with different digital literacy levels and informational needs.
The Process
I orchestrated the design strategy to ensure the platform was both administratively functional and engaging for the audience:
- Multi-Target Visual Identity: Developed a versatile visual language designed to be approachable for young students, and clear and trustworthy for parents and educators.
- Complex Workflow Design: Architected the digital submission and evaluation system for the national competition, streamlining the upload, exchange, and management of multimedia assets between educational institutions and the organizing body.
- Information Architecture: Structured a deep repository of educational resources, ensuring intuitive navigation and easy access to program guidelines and participation tools.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Managed the requirements of institutional actors, aligning the technical constraints of the project with the practical needs of the schools.
The Outcome
The project was delivered as a production-ready package, including the finalized web architecture and a fully structured database. The platform successfully facilitated a nationwide digital competition, enabling seamless collaboration between the organization and hundreds of participating schools, while providing an accessible, high-quality digital experience.
