The Challenge
Developing the UX and UI for a suite of three interactive games commissioned by a leading global energy provider for the World Climate Conference. The objective was to create an engaging, high-impact experience that educated participants on climate issues while serving as a strategic lead-generation tool. The challenge lay in creating a seamless bridge between a distinctive visual identity and a functional, interactive digital product capable of capturing user data in a high-traffic event environment.
The Process
I led the design team in bringing the creative vision to life, working in synergy with a top-tier design agency, who provided the initial visual assets:
- Interactive Experience Design: My team and I transformed static visual concepts into fully interactive game mechanics, focusing on intuitive gameplay and smooth transitions.
- Lead Generation Integration: Designed a friction-less onboarding flow where users could register their email addresses, ensuring the data collection process was quick enough for a conference setting while remaining compliant and user-friendly.
- Prototyping & Motion Design: Developed detailed interaction patterns to ensure the games felt responsive and engaging, prioritizing the “fun factor”.
- Cross-Agency Collaboration: Acted as the technical design bridge, ensuring that the high-end aesthetic provided by the partner agency was perfectly preserved during the transition to a functional, interactive application.
The Outcome
The project was delivered as three fully functional, ready-to-install applications. The games enhanced the client’s presence at the World Climate Conference, driving significant foot traffic, facilitating users interactions, and successfully generating a high volume of leads through an integrated, accessible registration system.
