The Challenge
Designing a high-impact interactive installation for a major international event. The objective was to create a digital discovery hub where visitors could explore the company’s corporate products and technical material specifications. The challenge was to deliver a “futuristic” interface that aligned with the brand’s cutting-edge vision, ensuring the experience was both visually spectacular and intuitive enough for rapid interaction in a high-traffic exhibition environment.
The Process
I led the design of the interactive experience, focusing on sensory engagement and streamlined information retrieval:
- Futuristic UX/UI Concept: Developed a visionary visual language, utilizing motion graphics and advanced layout structures to meet the client’s expectations for a “next-generation” digital experience.
- Large-Scale Interaction Design: Optimized the interface ensuring that touch targets, text legibility, and interactive elements were perfectly calibrated for standing users.
- Information Hierarchy: Organized a dense library of content and technical data into a fluid, non-linear navigation system that allowed users to jump effortlessly between corporate storytelling and deep-dive product details.
- Multimedia Integration: Orchestrated the integration of high-definition video, 3D models and interactive data sheets, maintaining a responsive feedback to enhance the premium feel.
The Outcome
The project resulted in a fully functional, production-ready interactive software deployed on different Android tablets for the international event. The solution successfully acted as a focal point for the client’s booth, driving high visitor engagement, effectively communicating the brand’s innovative identity, and providing a modern, paperless way to distribute complex product information.
