Telemedicine apps for the healthcare sector

Developing a multi-platform telemedicine ecosystem for a national healthcare leader. By bridging the needs of operators, clinicians, and patients, we delivered a seamless, highly accessible experience that streamlines remote monitoring and clinical care management across diverse devices.

We initiated the project with qualitative research, including in-depth interviews with clinicians, caregivers, and patients. These insights were integrated with co-design workshops involving internal stakeholders, including operators, department heads, and executives. The research findings guided the definition of core user flows and priority content tailored to each specific role and device.

The design phase included:

• Web Application (Internal Operators): Optimized for patient record management and the activation of clinical protocols based on severity levels.
• Tablet App (Healthcare Professionals): Designed for doctors and medical staff to manage home visits efficiently.
• Tablet App (Patients & Caregivers): Featuring adaptive functionalities based on the user profile and the specific pathologies being monitored.

We developed a modular and scalable UI Kit to ensure visual consistency and long-term evolution. The UI was carefully adapted for different screen sizes, with a strong focus on spatial management and layout optimization. The project concluded with the creation of interactive prototypes for real-user validation and the final handoff of comprehensive Figma files.

The project delivered a cohesive and accessible ecosystem of applications. This solution effectively supports all actors involved in the care process, significantly improving the management of healthcare procedures both remotely and in person.
