The Challenge
Designing a unified digital ecosystem consisting of a corporate website and a bespoke B2B platform named “Brand Center.” The primary objective was to create a centralized hub for sharing information and marketing assets, with a global network of suppliers and distributors. The challenge lay in designing a secure, role-based system that could handle complex workflows while maintaining visual and technical consistency across both the public-facing site and the internal management tool.
The Process
Project orchestration by focusing on functional scalability and cross-platform synergy, utilizing a Design System approach:
- Requirements & Concept Ideation: Facilitated collaborative workshops with stakeholders to map out the specific needs of different user groups (suppliers vs. distributors) and define the core value proposition of the Brand Manager tool.
- Role-Based UX Mapping: Designed intricate user flows tailored to specific permissions, ensuring that sensitive data and materials were accessible only to authorized roles.
- Systemic Design Integration: Developed both platforms using a unified Material Design System framework. This ensured a consistent UI language, reduced development time, and provided a familiar, intuitive experience for all users.
- UI/UX Production: Created comprehensive Figma files covering all system states, navigation structures, and asset-management modules for the Brand Manager.
- Technical Stewardship: Aligned the design architecture with technical constraints to ensure the database and file-sharing modules were optimized for asset distribution.
The Outcome
The project resulted in a cohesive, production-ready digital ecosystem. The corporate website effectively communicates the brand’s identity, while the Brand Manager platform has significantly optimized the supply chain’s efficiency by providing a single, reliable source of truth for materials. The use of a shared Design System has created a robust foundation for future updates, ensuring long-term scalability and brand consistency.
