The Challenge
Design a mobile app and website for a car sharing and rental service on behalf of a leading automotive company. The project targeted both B2B and B2C markets, with the primary goal of creating a seamless, intuitive, and scalable experience. We aimed to address diverse user needs while driving adoption and reducing the perceived complexity of the service.
The Process
We adopted a user-centered design approach, structured across several key phases:
- Preliminary Research: Conducted comprehensive desk research and competitive benchmarking at both national and international levels.
- User Research: Performed exploratory interviews with current and potential users, mapped primary user journeys, developed a service blueprint, and conducted contextual field inquiries.
- Co-design: Facilitated collaborative sessions with internal stakeholders to align on business requirements.
- Synthesis & Prioritization: Utilized data-driven prioritization techniques to guide the design strategy.
- Prototyping: Developed high-fidelity interactive prototypes, which were validated through user testing.
- Refinement: Conducted technical assessments with the development team to identify technological constraints and optimize user flows.
The Outcome
The project concluded with the delivery of final Figma files, including a dedicated UI Kit, end-to-end flows, microcopy, and comprehensive system states. The result is a highly usable product ready to scale across B2B and B2C markets, featuring a robust user experience that has been thoroughly validated in the field.
